This is not a short letter. Nor is it all light and laughter. For those that do not want to give the time to read this, or to those that wish to only read of happiness and bliss, you may wish to skip this post. Also, those that are OCD about grammatical correctness with be driven slightly mad by my lack of compliance to such rules.
Things at the 3SW are exponentially changing in dynamics and semantics, flowing in an ancient, present, and future ribbon of effort and net working of so much and many. Life upon this planet is reflecting what we are creating within this community. Many even believe that our cooperative co-creation is what allows the world access to mirror our intentions. Though we are but a part of the great Wheel,..without us it would not move as it does with us. It is about and for this wheel that I am writing. In a more modern sense, the Whole as we know it is about to become something much larger then the sum of its parts. And so, I would like to take this moment and offer it to the Deities of consensus, asking that all of the 3SW's parts offer their own voice to this written Stone Soup.
What I say now is only my perspective, as short in years as it is of spectrum, but also completely original in its creation. I have been gifted within my life in such a way that it has reminded me of my connection to the Universe, to God / Dess. That gift is the place I have been given, some would say earned, within this Tribe. It is from that stand point that I offer these ideas, ponderings, and perceptions. Again, I speak for no other soul but my own.
A Truth beyond even the gods own arguments.
As With the Light, So With the Dark.
As With the Dark, So With the Light.
In the wake of our species rapidly approaching ascension out of hate and towards love, following as intimately close as only the Shadow can, is another force that survives only to oppose love and other such powers of God and creation. It rules through the emotion of greed and hate, through fear and confusion. I speak of this only to bring what I say next in contrast to the larger picture.
Many remember, and some have recorded, the times when it was the obligation of the local law enforcement to "Keep those Hippies in their place". We all know of the "common" attitude many, if not most, "Law Enforcement" officers have ( or have been programmed to feel ) towards Hippies, Rainbows, Gypsies, Burners, Artists, and other such "dregs" of a lawful ( obedient ) society. I myself suffered a sprained wrist and a dislocated jaw because at one point in time I had long hair, was donning hemp clothing and just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. I was breaking no law. In fact I was not doing much of anything but sitting under a tree at a park reading a book. I still to this day remember the look and emotion that reflected in the young officers eyes as he forced me to the ground and cuffed me. It was deep, it was internal/external, and it over ran any level of conscious humanity within a man that had, by all legal rights, the choice to take my life or not.
So, I am sure a few of you are asking what my point is. It is simply this. We cannot ignore, un-manifest, refuse to accept, or other wise disregard the simple truth that we have an opposing force against us. Yet many whom I have witnessed within this tribe seem to turn a conscious blind eye to such a truth. The worse cases of this are those that project hateful, angry thoughts in the direction of said opposing force to the point of escalating a peaceful encounter into a violent confrontation. Feed a hungry dog and see how it sticks around, sniffing for more.
You may also be asking, what does this have to do with the 3SW?
Again, the answer is simple.
The owners and founders of the land we as a Tribe have found to be a sacred, peaceful place to be a community in its deepest levels of love and intention,...are making changes. Beautiful changes, life altering changes. World altering changes. And many of these changes are legal in essence as well as necessity. They involve the very people that some of the Tribe hold a strong, disdainful disregard towards. This anger and mistrust can potentially cause any amount of problems for the Whole and those that are legally attached to the land.
And so I make my ultimate point.
We are starting an organic farm, to grow beans and corn, squash and potatoes. Maybe even soy beans and rice?...who knows how far this will go as we put it together. But, take a moment and place yourself into the shoes of that officer that "wanted to keep those hippies in their place". What do you think he is wondering? I am sure that the law enforcement officials that are now privy to our legal intentions and changes are going to wonder that same thing. A farm run by a bunch of hippies? Hmmmmmm.
By growing as we have in strength and intention, we are being noticed by those that would appose us in any way they can, out of nothing more then a desire to not allow our process because it is out side of theirs. Even though we pay our taxes, vote, stop at red lights, and otherwise obey the laws of the culture we are a part of, we are still labeled as "dissidents" to the order in which many others live and serve. We are pro life, while they are pro war. We are for clear communication, whereas they created a language for the sole purpose of creating miscommunication and segregation. We offer our lives for the betterment of our species as a whole, while they take the lives of the innocent every day in order to keep things as they are. As they have been for thousands of years. Who was the brilliant one that decided that the best way to run this planet was to crush the life out of its supposedly sentient inhabitants, while teaching them to drain the life from the planet? Not the wisest of souls, if they even possess such a thing.
Anyway, this rant has gone on long enough, and I believe that my message to this Tribe is clear. Hopefully.
We are part of both a world of Light as well as one of Dark. We cannot escape that no matter what form we take. Every God and Goddess in all of creation is under that rule.
RESPECT AND BE AWARE OF WHAT IS A PART OF LIFE! ALL PARTS OF IT!
DO NOT, OUT OF IGNORANCE, ENDANGER THOSE WHO CAN BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS!
DO NOT FEED HATE WITH MORE HATE!!!
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT PROJECT YOUR HATE UNTO ONE THAT MAY BE A GUARDIAN OF LOVE, JUST BECAUSE THEY WEAR A UNIFORM!!!!!!!
This is personal for me, as two of you now know. I have sent in my application to the NM and Colorado state Rangers. If I one day stand before you in uniform, will your love and respect for me be changed to hate and anger solely because I wear a badge? Or will you choose to see the person within the clothing, unclouded by prejudice and hate? This is your choice to make with every member of law enforcement. Not just me.
And we will have encounters with the Law, more so now that the 3SW is becoming active on a broad scale again. We all know the land and its past use still hold a bad reputation within the minds of those who do not like us or our intentions. We have lawyers within the Tribe that are much better suited to confront and react to such confrontations. Do not take it upon yourself to express any personal emotions if you are confronted. Not even if the officer is pushing you to react, as they are trained to do. When they are asking you what seem to be unrelated questions to why they stopped you, they are sniffing out guilt, dissidence, and violent intent. Stay civil. Look at the officers as human beings doing their job, and not as some power looming over your life. Be honest, show respect, and it will be returned. These people, especially the ones that work in the pits of human degradation and dishonesty more commonly known as cities, have so much hate sent their way for no reason other then reputation. Next time you are confronted with an officer, think of them as someone you know and trust. All we hear about are the bad encounters, even though those encounters are by a HUGE margin the minority of all encounters.
And as the BLM and Nevada Rangers at Burning Man often joke about. If you are unconscious and ignorant enough to BLATANTLY disregard the law in plain view for anyone to see, expect to be charged with what is now commonly referred to as the "Idiot Tax".
And know that if these actions are in anyway tied with or happening within the 3SW community, then you are not the only one who will be charged. People you love and respect may also be held accountable and charged even though they had nothing to do with your actions.
There are those within this community who have been appointed and/or have taken it upon themselves to help keep this from happening. Know that I personally will not tolerate any behavior that will endanger my community and tribe. I will not allow any behavior or actions to threaten Dr Blue, Chance or Issac as the legal owners of the land. And with this letter, I call upon others within the Tribe that have the same heart, mind and spirit for this task. In a perfect world, there would be no need for this. But actions that I have both witnessed and heard of from those I trust prove that there are those present within this cooperative human gathering that do not have the best intentions or actions in mind, heart and spirit.
To the Guardians, the Peaceful Warriors of our Tribe, we are coming to a zenith of Change. Opposing forces are clashing more and more around the world as well as locally. There are those who cannot defend themselves from this conflict. It is our calling, our Soul Purpose to stand between Love and what would destroy Love. Nash 'Mather Nom Loientha! I offer my immortal soul, willingly, for the safety and liberty of innocence and love. And so I sign off with this prayer...
